
Nasser is the founder
and president of Meeting Insites International, a meeting consulting and
trade show management company with a mission of providing service
excellence to its clients. Born in Iran, Nasser's family moved to Europe
after he had completed his elementary education, and continued his
schooling in Zurich, Switzerland, and Rome, Italy. He has been a leader in
the meetings and hospitality industry for over 27 years both as a manager
and teacher.
Nasser began his career
in the meetings field at the Sheraton Plaza La Reina Hotel in Los Angeles.
His experience and expertise led to positions with the Disneyland Hotel and
later the Westin Bonaventure Hotel, where he served as the director of food
& beverage and director of convention services, respectively.

Prior to founding
Meeting Insites International, Nasser was the director of the Eastern
Region for Conferon, Incorporated where soon after joining the organization
in 1991, he assumed responsibilities for the start-up, management and
operation of the company's Washington, DC office. As an active leader in
the industry, he has taught several meeting management and hospitality
courses in the forum of UCLA's Continuing Education Program and in 1990,
received the designation of Master Teacher from the University. Nasser is
an active member in several industry associations including: Meeting
Professionals International (MPI), Professional Convention Management
Association (PCMA), International Association for Exhibition Management
(IAEM), and American Society of Association Executives (ASAE). In pursuit
of international business interests as well as leisure experience, Nasser
has traveled extensively throughout Europe and the Middle East. He is a
graduate of the University of California in Los Angeles (UCLA), where he
received his BA degree in Mathematics.
